JavaScript Web Developer (M/F/D)

For a trusted client of Spilberg near Wuppertal (100% remote) I’m looking for a JavaScript Web Developer (m/f/d) with  several years of experience in development as soon as possible. Location: 100% Remote (from time to time in the headquarters near Wuppertal)
Start date: asap
Contract duration: UNLIMITED
Hours/week: 40 hours/week

Your profile as a JavaScript Web Developer (m/f/d)

As an ideal JavaScript Web Developer, you bring at least 2 years of experience mainly in the frontend.

  • Fluency in plain JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3

  • Single Page Web Apps & Progressive Web Apps

  • Knowledge of modern user interface frameworks and libraries (Bootstrap, Steema TeeChart, DevExpress, Leaflet)

  • Passion for technology and always keeping your eyes open for new developments that can make us more efficient, more productive and more fun to work with

  • Know-how in ensuring quality, building maintainable software, and keeping it operational

  • Enjoy to work in and contribute to a diverse, inter-cultural team, graciously accepting and giving feedback

  • Very good English skills


Your responsibilities as a JavaScript Web Developer (m/f/d)

The task includes the conception and programming, as well as the testing of user interfaces for web, tablet, and mobile platforms. Based on existing wireframes and specifications from product or project management, project-specific user interfaces have to be developed. This is done in international cooperation with our global sales partners.

  •  Creation of high-quality mock-ups and prototypes (multi-platform)

  • Data evaluation and visualization

  • Design and independent implementation of new front-end developments (multiplatform)

  • Maintenance and further development of created front-end solutions

  • Incorporation of customer requests

  • Testing of front-ends incl. performance optimizations

  • Collaboration with the English-speaking back-end team in South Africa


Organisation

Our client offers specialized underground mining technology to customers around the world and operates internationally. Currently there is a strong growth phase. At the moment they have around 200 employees and want to double their team until next year.
The whole company has a very international mentality and is looking for new employees with a very open mindset and new ideas.
